Banderas Bay

The best destination for investment

Mexico is one of the most attractive destinations in the world in attracting tourism investment; at the inauguration of the Cancun Investment Summit 2022 Forum, the head of the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur), Miguel Torruco Marqués, highlighted that the Foreign Direct Investment in Tourism (FDIT) generated from January to June 2022 amounted to 2 billion 779 million dollars, thus surpassing what was captured in all of 2019.

Speaking of the Banderas Bay, one of the advantages is that it offers investors the opportunity to choose the harmonious fusion of traditional beachfront architecture, or modern condominiums within charming coastal towns.

In front of this bay -considered one of the most beautiful in the world- are located two internationally recognized destinations, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, whose geographical position is privileged as they are sheltered by the Sierra Madre Occidental, which provides natural protection against storms and hurricanes frequently faced by other states in the country.

Air connectivity from the main cities of the United States and Canada is excellent, recently the expansion of the Gustavo Díaz Ordaz airport was announced, and speaking of the road network, the project to improve the land infrastructure is under construction. In maritime terms, Puerto Vallarta is recognized as one of the 10 main ports for the arrival of cruise ships in Mexico.

But there is still more…

Investment costs are really competitive, with spectacular tourist developments, so it is not surprising that many investors are “setting their eyes” on the region, and where most American and Canadian retirees have long since chosen this paradise to enjoy the best years of their lives.

The reasons are several, starting with the comparative value of the properties is significantly lower in Mexico. Then the exchange rate, and therefore the yield that is obtained from a pension of North American origin, this coupled with the great added value of real estate investments.

As if that were not enough, the Banderas Bay offers a perfect climate, with an average daily temperature of 25° C from November to May, with little chance of rain.

Safety is another of the attributes of this region, which is why it is one of the fastest growing economic regions in the country.

The size and strength of the domestic market undoubtedly pushes the destination upwards, together with the supply of goods and services that provide a much more pleasant and exclusive lifestyle, all within an environment of tranquility, stability and growth in front of the Mexican Pacific coast.
